She has made her debut in Bollywood with the supporting role of Shefali Thakur in Aisha, a Rajshree Ojha’s film followed by the lead role in Mahesh Bhatt’s Blood Money along with Kunal Khemu. She has done advertising for many brands like Kotex, Garnier, L’oreal. She made her debut on television with Anurag Basu’s “Stories by Rabindranath Tagore” which aired on EPIC channel. She was last seen in Star Plus’ show P.O.W.(Prisoner Of War).

Amrita Puri was born on 20 August 1983 in Mumbai, India. She is the daughter of Aditya Puri, Managing Director of HDFC Bank. She did her schooling from Bombay Scottish School and St Xavier’s College. She has completed her post graduation in mass communications and also did a stint in an ad agency.
