Now a day, there is a freak of biopic’s in the Bollywood, after Sanjay Dutt and MS Dhoni now catch the another biopic, which is based on the life of former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin.
Mohammad Azharuddin or Azhar is the first player in the world to have hit three consecutive centuries in first three Tests to becoming the only player in the world who has taken 156 catches in One Day International (ODI) Cricket.
Azharuddin led the Indian cricket team for most of the 1990s. He was implicated in a match-fixing scandal in 2000, and banned for life. But later in 2012, the Andhra Pradesh High Court lifted the ban.

The movie is produced by Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Telefilms and MSM Motion pictures. The movie is directed by Tony D’Souza and also stars Emraan Hashmi as Mohammad Azharuddin, Prachi Desai as Naureen, the first wife of Azharuddin and Nargis Fakhri.
Bigg Boss season 8 winner Gautam Gulati, who started his journey on TV with Ekta’s TV show Kasamh Se and later appeared in Balaji Telefilms’ Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana and Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani and shot to fame with the popular daily soap Diya Aur Baati Hum, is all set to live his Bollywood dream with Tony D’souza’s flick Azhar.
The upcoming biopic, which is based on the life of the former Indian international cricketer, Mohammad Azharuddin, will see the 28-year-old TV actor in the role of a cricketer-turned-commentator Ravi Shastri.
The official Twitter handle of Azhar unveiled the first look of Gautam Gulati and shared several pics, wherein he is seen in the role of a cricket commentator. They revealed images with the caption, “Looking flamboyant & sophisticated, here’s the first look of @TheGautamGulati in #Azhar!”
Azhar is slated for a worldwide release on May 13, 2016.
