There is one more romantic sizzling number for the fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The romantic number Gerua from Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale was finally launched on Wednesday evening at the historic Maratha Mandir cinema hall, Mumbai, which still runs Shahrukh khan and Kajol’s 1995 blockbuster Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ).
When Shahrukh and Kajol come together the viewers expect pure romantism and director Rohit Shetty in the song Gerua serves lots of romance for the viewers. In the 4.47 minute video of the Gerua King Khan looks terrific and Kajol as usual looks like ethereal beauty. That’s not easy for the lead, lovely and most desirable pair of Bollywood to prove again them self in romantic number when the man just turned to 50 that’s why with intense gazes, caresses and embraces they display their love and affection for each other.
Shah Rukh Khan & Kajol’s romance come back with Dilwale’s Gerua
Gerua reminds the fans of romantic songs Sooraj Hua Maddham from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The romantic number is beautiful and dreamy with the chiffon sari of gorgeous Kajol blowing in the wind again but these time sand of Egypt replaced by the ice.
The song was shot at various locations that looked exotic on screen. Kajol and Shahrukh say “It was very challenging as we shot in Iceland…We were freezing and It was difficult to shoot the song. It took two-three hours to set the song, for wider shot we had helicopter to capture the moments.”
When asked about the song Chennai Express star says, “Rohit wants that we should make Gerua stand out better than all the other songs we have done together Since Kajol and I are coming back together on-screen after years before we have done many beautiful songs are really fortunate to have done those. But our director was very clear and precise about how he would like to shoot the song. He paid attention to every detail starting from the choice of location, costumes and every other technicality because it was essential to him.”
Kajol says, “I am sure the audiences will also find it magical once they see it on-screen. We shot the song in a start to finish schedule of 7 days. We worked really hard and it was severe cold had a great time in all as the song itself is so good that we enjoyed performing”.
Gerua is written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and has been composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra. Dilwale also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma and Sanjay Mishra. It is slated to hit theatres on December 18.
