After the grand success of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani on the silver screen the channel are started working on the idea of the TV adaptation of the superhit epic Love story of Bajirao and Mastani.

According to the reports &TV were joint hands with Alind Srivastava and Nisaar Parvez of Peninsula Pictures and Sony commissioned the project to Sphere Origins, headed by Sunjoy Wadhwa.  By throwing the first trump card & TV win the first step by releasing the teaser of the show.

By not sitting silent Sony TV still work on the project and currently considered  in the lead. Sony has much ahead in its development stage as it has started casting for the show. The makers have roped in the Bollywood actress Isha Kopikkar to play one of the pivotal roles in the show.
The war is now on a fantastic road because both the channels are trying to leave no stone for the show. They both are working on a big-scale for the mythological Love saga of Peshwa Bajirao, Kashibai and Mastani. As this is not the first time when two channel conflict over the contents.

In the past, there have been conflict between the same channel for the shows like Mann Main Hain Vishwas on Sony and Bhakti Mein Shakti on Life OK and Ashoka (Colors and Star Plus), where the content has been similar.

So, it’s only the time who decides which channel gains success over the other by winning the rat race and  which channel justice with the most expensive historical show Love Saga of Bajirao and Mastani.
