Arshad Warsi is an Indian film actor, who has made his entry in bollywood with 1996 film “Tere Mere Sapne”. He is not only a brilliant actor but also a talented choreographer. Besides acting in many films, he has also worked as a television presenter and the producer. He is mainly recognized for his role of “Circuit” in the movies Munna bhai M.B.B.S. and Lage Raho Munnabhai. He will soon be seen in upcoming movie Bhaiyyaji Superhitt and Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again.
Arshad Warsi Early Life
Arshad Warsi was born on 19 April 1968, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has done his schooling at Barnes Boarding School, Deolali in Nashik district, Maharashtra. During his school days, he was a national level gymnast. He lost his parents at the age of 14 and faced a lot of hurdles for survival in Mumbai during his early days.
Arshad’s interest over dancing made him join in Akbar Sami’s dance group. He has assisted filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt in two of his films Thikana and Kaash. Later he won the Indian Dance Competition in 1991 and stood at the fourth position in the World Dance Championship in London in the Modern Jazz category.

In the early days of his career, Arshad has worked as a door to door cosmetics salesman at an age of 17 and also as a photo lab assistant just to support himself. He gained his first offer to act in Amitabh Bachchan’s production company, ABCL’s first production Tere Mere Sapne in 1996. In 2003, he rose to fame when he played a pivotal supporting role in the comedy film Munna bhai MBBS opposite Sanjay Dutt, which turned out to be a huge box office hit.
Arshad Warsi also appeared in non stop box office successful films like Dhamaal, Golmaal, Golmaal Returns, Ishqiya, Golmaal 3 and Jolly LLB. He has hosted a popular award winning show Sabse Favourite Kaun for STAR Gold. He has also done a cameo in a television show, Ishaan.
